So much about making an impact as an NFL rookie, especially through four games, is about opportunity. And the first-year players on this list seized their opportunity and have played well a quarter of the way through the NFL season.

This All-Rookie team isn’t based on a player’s outlook for the rest of the season and beyond. This just comes down to the rookies with the best production and performance through the first four games of their NFL careers.

Justin Herbert, Los Angeles Chargers (1st round, No. 6 overall)

If I had the choice, I’m still taking Joe Burrow over Herbert for the long-term of my franchise. But through four games, I’m giving Herbert the slight edge in overall performance.
