Would Cleveland Browns trade quarterbacks with Green Bay Packers? Crowquill – cleveland.com

CLEVELAND, Ohio — Aaron Rodgers supposedly wants out of Green Bay and there is rampant speculation about where Rodgers could end up if the Packers actually trade their MVP quarterback.

The Browns are one of the teams mentioned as a possible destination for Rodgers. The idea being that the Browns would trade Baker Mayfield, some future draft picks and another player or two for what some would view as an upgrade at QB.

Would the Browns trade away their 26-year-old future of the franchise for a win-it-all-now 37-year-old who is flirting with the idea of replacing Alex Trebek as the host of Jeopardy?

I don’t think the Browns would make that trade and I don’t think Rodgers, a West Coast guy, would want to come to Cleveland.

So hopefully we can watch Baker lead the Browns to a second consecutive playoff spot while Rodgers reads Jeopardy contestants the answers to their questions.
